San Francisco LWLC Event
Living with Liver Cancer launched its first educational event in San Francisco on December 6, 2008.
Dr. Catherine Frenette and liver cancer survivor, Bok Pon, shared information to a group of more than 30 individuals affected by liver disease and liver cancer.
Catherine Frenette, a transplant hepatologist with California Pacific Medical Center’s Liver Disease Management & Transplant Program, spoke about liver cancer risk factors, signs and symptoms and available treatment options.
Bok Pon, liver cancer survivor, spoke about his experience with the disease.
